Morning Bell |
 |
This morning bell was used to wake up villagers early in the
morning to start their days¡¯ work. It enlightened people to get rid of
lethargic and helpless attitudes. The morning bell is a symbol of
diligence, the Saemaul spirit. |

Chogajip |
 |
This thatched-roof house is the typical house for Korean families in
the rural area back in the 60s. It is a symbol of Korean poverty
situation. This particular house is a minimized model of a house that
actually existed in a village near our training institute.

Saemaul Leader Outfit |
 |
This is the Saemaul leaders¡¯ Uniform. Men Saemaul leaders¡¯
uniforms are the color of soil, which represents farmers¡¯ spirit.
Separately, the green color of Women Saemaul leaders¡¯ uniforms
stand for the vitality of a new sprout.
